October 3, 201511 yr Maybe they wait for a new AD...you don't want interim AD (with 1 year contract) picking the coach of your future that the new AD (whenever he's hired) doesn't like or want. I think not having the AD job filled yet helps Strong, at least in the short term.

They put up a chart during the game showing that Texas has had 12 players drafted since they won it all against USC. What talent?
