Worst performance I have ever seen from a Russell team. They could do nothing right. Congratulations to Fleming County they played hard and kicked some butt.

Fleming has West Carter next week and at Bath Co the following. The district is now officially wide open. 5 different teams are still alive to win the district with 3 games to play.

Congrats to Fleming Co. They outclassed Russell. The Panthers did a better job of dealing with the elements. Russell could get nothing going on offense. After Conley left with an injury, it was all downhill for the Devils.

 

Bad snaps, fumbles, penalties, injuries, interceptions(including a pick six). It was a bad night all around for Russell.

Hmm... What happened to Russell? This isn't the same team that beat Ironton for the first time in forever. Or is it?

Outside of the Ashland game, the defense has been strong. Fleming only had 120ish yards of offense tonight.

 

Russell's offense on the other hand, hasn't really looked good all year. The passing game seems to have regressed and Conley is the only RB making things happen on the ground. I'm going to place some of the blame for tonight's issues on the weather, but Russell QBs just haven't made very many good throws this season.
