October 1, 201510 yr Dusty Baker would be a good fit in Seattle if McClendon were to be let go. They seem to be just what he usually steps in to.
October 1, 201510 yr Lloyd McClendon in Seattle I agree with this. The sentiment before the season was that Seattle would be exactly what Houston turned out to be this year. A team that is on the cusp of a playoff birth. Instead they have been a major disappointment.

Is it a clash with ownership and their prima donna Harper? I'll admit I don't follow the Nationals very closely, but I believe Williams has potential to be a great manager.
October 1, 201510 yr Well, I know the Reds have young pitching, blah blah blah... Price has to be let go, you fired a guy that took you to the playoffs, and we have been awful for 2 years under Price same guys in uniform. Need a change in Cincinnati as well. Dont want to hear arguments for him to stay, just not a mangager, he is a pitching coach at best.
October 1, 201510 yr IMO the Reds need a baseball guy. Preferably a former catcher that was solid, but not elite. Let me throw this name out there and see if it sticks, Corky Miller. I will venture to say that at some point in his life he is a major league manager. Guy has been around the game at all levels and I can just see him being the ideal player manager. If they were dumb enough to hire Barry Larkin, then they get what they deserve.

October 1, 201510 yr Brad Ausmus in Detroit Thought ESPN had said that Ausmus would be back for 2016, citing injuries for a disappointing 2015 (sound familiar Reds fans???).

I'd be stunned to see him take over for any team next year. I don't get the Larkin talk either. Have there been any managers with no experience come into bad teams?
October 1, 201510 yr I would be shocked if Matt Williams is not fired on Monday morning. that team underachieved all year.
