September 30, 201511 yr Liberty Counsel: Pope Francis met secretly with Kim Davis during trip to U.S.
September 30, 201511 yr The Liberty Counsel is a pretty radical group it seems like. And didn't Pope Francis admit he knew very little about the Kim Davis saga? Seems fishy to me that they met.
September 30, 201511 yr Another thread on the same topic? How many different threads do we need to have about the same exact thing?
September 30, 201511 yr Author Im sure if they did not meet and the Pope thinks she is a bigot the the Vatican will issue a statement.

September 30, 201511 yr I agree: this story is just too much for it to be fake. No way you tell people you met with the pope and that he gave you and your husband rosaries if it didn't happen.
September 30, 201511 yr The pope did most of his work with what the media might describe as the "culture wars" on the down low this trip. Met with the nuns opposing the ACA mandate in private as well.
September 30, 201511 yr I didn't read the article and honestly don't care if he did or didn't, but... What's the issue if he did?
September 30, 201511 yr LC has played fast and loose with facts. I'd like another source to confirm. WKYT citing Liberty Counsel as the source is not enough for me to buy that the Pope is that concerned with this conflict, given his prior statements.
September 30, 201511 yr I'd love another source or The Pope himself to confirm this. Until then, I'm inclined to believe this didn't happen. And, Davis seems like the type of "Christian" who would believe that Catholicism is wrong.
