Some Speculation was that it was because of a missed assignment, another thought that I heard it was because of his sideline and post game demeanor.

Stoops said he's had or is going to have a conversation with him but that everything would be internal...in other words he aint telling us.

I wouldn't let it scare anyone, he might be disciplined this week but will be back next week. Normal discipline procedure.

Immaturity is why he dropped.

Kemp was more effective than him anyways. Williams needs to get his attitude back on the same page as the team.

My guess is Boom will be fine. Lessons learned about how to handle situations. I know he'll have coaches and some teammates in his ear.

Life lesson.

I'd bet the house it's a mix of both.

He got his tail ripped for that soft attempt at a block, which got Pat killed. He then proceeded to either spout off or have some crappy body language.

Telling ya guys, he did not come back on the field after that play.

He'll be fine. I think it's a great sign of where the program is to be honest with you. When you get to the point in your program where here you are in maybe their most important game of the year (now and quite possibly down the road even), your most explosive player either A) doesn't execute and/or B) doesn't execute, then responds poorly to coaching; yet you can say screw it and him as a coach, bench him & then win a game vs a Top 25 conference opponent?

This program is going places.

:thumb: Exactly, and at least imo as it should be. Besides, the rumor's on this one should be hilarious.

Nice to see that the staff is dealing with an issue and has the depth to do so. Wasn't that long ago that nothing would have been said/done because we didn't have another option to choose from.

This is what winning football looks like folks. Coaches holding players accountable.

Did I just hear on KSR that Williams has removed UK from his social media sites and won't be at practice today?

I just caught the tail end of it.

Reports suggest that RB Stanley Boom Williams plans to leave Kentucky and will not return this season.

Buddy of mine emailed and said he was leaving the team completely.

He's a talent but that's a quick rush to judgement on his part.

However, if he ends up at EKU like Mobley did, sign me up.

So we have one guy who says he heard it on KSR and another guy who said KSR never said such a thing.
