For your sake, I hope it's fictional, because I think we all know why he's too tired on Tuesday mornings.

Oh, no doubt. I didn't wanna be the one who said it, but I think we're all on the same page on that one. :lol2:

Okay. This is my last post. Again, for you and others, please read this analogy slowly. It may be difficult for you to understand.

Let's pretend that you work. Don't get annoyed, we are pretending, remember?

Let's say you have a 3 meetings during your work day. Each meeting is 1 hour long. There is one at 1 o'clock, one at 2 o'clock, and the final at 3 o'clock. Are ya with me?

Let's say something happens at work and you are 20 minutes late for the 1 o'clock meeting; however, you still have to stay for the entire hour. I understand that this work thing may be a hard concept, but stay with me. So now you are 20 minutes late for your 2:00 meeting. You will be late for your 3:00 meeting. It is almost a trickle down effect (it that is something ya'll can understand?).

Does that make sense? I understand it is a very hard concept, but things like this happen every day in the real world.

So now, try to relate the above pretend story to what I wrote. It will be very very difficult for some of you to understand, I get that. But hey, I'm trying. If you don't get it, just go with the helicopter response. Either is really fine with me.

Remember fellas, this is my last post. So, beat on me as you wish. I'll just sit back and laugh at ya'll.

With all due respect.......this is one of the dumbest things I've ever read, this is so silly I don't know how you could be taken seriously.

BTW, all the laughing is on YOU, unfortunately.

@GreyFox, what's wrong with the soccer and volleyball forums? :whistling:

There are some real "train wrecks" over there. :lol2:

All I asked is why coaches are tools. It has zero to do with the kid. The kid just told me what happened. He wasn't upset. He didn't complain. He just stated the facts.

I didn't understand. So, I asked a question. It has zero to do with his or my private parts growing. This has nothing to do with him quiting a sport he loves. Why are adults turning this about him? It's a simple question of an old man trying to understand the mentality of football coaches. Period.

Actually, I'm kinds sorry I brought it up. Except for the fact that greyfox is cracking me up!

Zero, you started all the name calling and didn't get the response you wanted from the crowd on here. I'm sorry you brought it up also.

I think she crawled back to another forum.

I think she crawled back to another forum.

College athletics, and even band have a pecking order. He is a Freshman, so going 1st the week before is an extreme privilege. On top of that I'm assuming the OP is wanting a fair world, he goes first one week, he goes last the next. Seems pretty fair.

You seem passionate about this kid, which I think is great, I'm glad that you are involved in her boyfriend's life and know details about what he is doing. Is it important for him to have a social life during football? Yes, it is, but college is meant to be a time for kids to find out who they truly are away from home. If he really wants to be apart of a team then he needs to be spending some of his free time with his teammates outside of football, and going to campus sponsored events. If not, he is going to hate it, I've seen it happen too many times.

Long distance relationships are tough and rarely work out, plus Jodie will eventually find out her boyfriend is only in town for a few hours and be there to swoop her up.

Without reading through this whole thread, can't imagine there isn't more to this story. I can't believe he actually shows up 15 minutes early and is made to wait last unless there is something else going on he isn't telling you about.

Don't be so naive to just automatically take the side of the kid and come on here and blast and call out all coaches.

30 minutes of my life i will never get back!!!

This can't possibly be real, no one is this delusional.
