I'm not jumping on the Ole Miss bandwagon just because they beat Bama.

 

Gave up way too many points to suit me. I'd have them somewhere around 7.

I know I am going to catch a ton of crap for this, but the polls drive me nuts. No way does Ohio State look like the best team in the country right now at this point. The weird thing is that I am totally cool with them being in the top spot, but I don't think that today, judging by their body of work, that they are the best team. I just think it is weird that it isn't on body of work, bet kind of on last year, how good they SHOULD be, and reputation.

 

I am a Florida State fan and the same thing happened last year until about week 5. FSU kept winning, yet they won ugly and slipped in the rankings. If tOSU has another ugly win, could they slip in the rankings?

 

This year's OSU is last year's FSU.

Ohio State is anything but slow. Indiana on the other hand, I know little about now that UK does not play them. It would be hard for me to believe they would have won the sec east last season though.

In my opinion, overall talent level in college is down this season. I've only seen one guy that is a threat to be a difference maker in the NFL and he's in the SEC running over dudes in the bayou.

 

Which will be interesting come Heisman time if he stays somewhere near the same pace. The Heisman has basically been a quarterback award for years.

Unless he completely falls on his face this season, Kiffin will be gone after this season IMO. I wouldn't be shocked to see in take over for the Ol' Ball Coach, even though I think that would be a bad choice.

I still don't get Clemson being rated in the top 10. I didn't see a top 10 team against UL. Of course, some are saying the same about the Buckeyes but I KNOW they have a lot of talent.

 

I guess we'll learn more about Clemson this week.

 

Clemson is always good at losing an unexpected game or two. Seems like they do little but have an abundance of NFL talent.

I am not a big Lane Kiffin fan, but I do agree with you on this. Alabama is, in my opinion, not as talented as they have been for some reason. Their defense is very suspect and they don't have the big time playmakers on offense outside of their RB. I think any O-Coordinator that can put up 37 points with a sub-par QB is doing something right. Need to take a look at the other side of the ball!!

I wouldn't say no way. Over time I've learned that anything is possible with UK football. But your right, UK "should" win this game based in how Mizzou has looked thus far. But like I said before they are a hard team to read because they seem to play up or down to their competition.
