Clemson 20 Louisville 17

Absolutely. My comment was more because I don't think he's hyped at all.

Ah, gotcha. I've heard "Heisman Candidate" thrown around a couple times. He certainly doesn't fit that description in my book.

Where is Deshaun Watson on the "overhyped" scale?

So far, he is up there.

Watson was the #1 Qb recruit his senior year and might have been #1 overall recruit. Urban went after him hard even though he already was committed to Clemson.

He is agile for sure' date=' extremely average throwing the ball.[/quote']

And that's putting it nicely.

Crazy part is he would be 3rd string at OSU this year.

I would say 90% of the quarterbacks in the country fall in that category.

Maybe but as DD said Watson was a 5 star and the #1 QB in the country his senior year.

Yep. Stephen Collier was a 4 star QB recruit and went to OSU last year and he may never see the field.

As rough as things have looked for Louisville, I'll eat my hat if the Cards lose to BC at home.

I demand video when this happens

They were talking ACC POY and Heisman candidate last night.

Yea. All day on ESPN they were hyping him as the best QB in America.

I don't recall him being a 4* nor having many big offers until OSU came in late after Deshaun said no and other QBs went elsewhere.

He was a 3 star and was told his role before he got on campus.

Boston College has a defense that is scary good and an offense that is equally bad. Louisville should beat them if they can get past the defense for a score or two.

I was surprised at how poor UL is at open field tackling.

After days to digest what I watched on Thursday. I have seen all 3 games in person and have seen improvement.

But - this mess is solely on Bobby- it is Circus at the QB position. He should have stuck with a QB and allowed the QB to get better. Instead he has played musical QB.

OLine is terrible - starting with #75- as for pass protection the other night had to use TE and FB to max protect which hurts with the passing game.

When he had 2 backs they ran the ball better - then stopped not sure why.

Defense is t very good. They sold this defense as being the second coming. Most of the issues are scheme- I counted the last 2 games there is no middle Linebacker on 3rd long or vs. 5-wide and we get killed with QB draw.

Bottom line Bobby created this mess and to prideful to fix it and admit he was wrong.
