Suggs out for year

Featured Replies

Tore his other achilles in the 4th qtr today. Hate to see anyone get hurt.

How old is he? Will this end his playing career?

Hate to see it. At his age it will be tough to rebound.

Never like seeing players get hurt. Hopefully he can recover from it and still play a few more years at a decent level.

I hate it but it sure as heck helps the Bengals.

I never like to see anyone injured, so in that regard I feel bad for Suggs.

At the same time, there aren't many more unlikeable guys in the league than Suggs. I'm not upset we won't have to see him on the field this season, just wish it wasn't as a result of a brutal injury.

I've always imagined that an Achilles injury would be one of the more painful to experience.

Somewhere, under his breath, Sam Bradford chuckled.

He's only 32. Should be no reason he can't come back from this. Did Kobe tear his a couple of years ago? He was older and in a sport that would be tougher to recover from an Achilles.

My son, when we texted about it yesterday said, "he was balling too hard".

Leon Hall has done it 14 times and is still playing.

While he is a Raven, I still hate to hear this. Never want to see someone not play because of an injury.

With that said, a friend (Ravens fan) did make a joke yesterday about Suggs returning by week 10 with the help of deer antler spray. I chuckled.
