Why only 7th graders and not 6th or 8th?

Last Friday I was doing some low post work with some 8th graders we had 3 and needed a 4th. Already had 3 8th graders at the time. 6th graders wouldn't have matched up with 6'3 215# or 6'7" 220 pound players. Ended up filling it with and 8th grader.

 

But having said that. Now, I'm looking for a 6th grade Power Forward or an athletic long Forward and also a Center.

I'm still perplexed why the #6 & #7 teams aren't given the chance to participate in a post season game!

Not 100% sure. I saw that too.

 

It works out for the HMS fans. HMS 8th is currently 20-2 and may have a chance to redeem the only 2 losses of the year. They lost once to Conner (Missing 2 starters and 2 non-starters) and once to Camp Ernest (missing 1 starter and 1 non-starter) on a last second bucket to give them the lead at Camp Ernest.

St. Pius beat Bsac by 1. It was a great game. Grant disken and Jay Jackson showed up to play for Bsac they combined for 41 of the 43 points scored by Bsac it was pretty impressive to watch

Does anyone know If Newport had beat Bracken in the small league or the results of there match ups?!?

Sounds like a fun one to watch. BSac wins league title & Pius the tourney title . . competition makes them all better.

I assume Mayer had a big game for Pius?

 

I'm very familiar with Pius 8th grade team. They've played a lot of fun games over their 3 years. Hoping they can finish it out with another regional title. No matter their fate, will go down as one of best Pius classes ever. Look forward to a few of them teaming up with BSac boys, et al, as Colonels.
