Seems like a double standard. Are they being told that because of county rules?

I don't think that Conner finished in the Top 20 last year, but they did win a few games.

I saw a 5th grader at Taylor Mill that is better than any 6th grader I saw this season (Note: I did NOT see all 6th grade teams). Crazy good, athletic, finish at the rim with both hands. I couldn't even tell what his strong had was until I saw him shoot a jumper. No idea what the kid's name is. We'll hear about him though.

As you know all to well, Conner doesn't have to abide by any of the Boone Cty basketball rules!

Boone County does have this rule in place. Teams cannot participate in events on Sundays witout BOE approval. From experience, I can tell you the BOE will allow the teams to play in the State Tournament - this is typically the only exception. The school has to request and receive permission from the BOE, and a school administrator must be on site if the team advances to Sunday.

Now that I think about it. I don't think we can even use a BC gym for practice on Sunday's because of the same rule.

Big seeding game @ Bracken County tonight

It looks like the tourney starts next week. Does anyone have a bracket for the big schools? I heard they cut the list of schools that get in. Is it 5 teams or 6 teams now? I heard the top teams in each division still get a bye? I'm guessing that's HMS and St Pius in the 8th grade but I haven't seen anything else.

BSac plays St. Pius for the CCH 8th grade league tourney championship on Sunday at 2p. Dick Maile coaches St. Pius. He coached the BSac team to this title when the current CovCath seniors were in the 8th grade (Heppler & Massey are the only ones left playing). BSac also put on a dominating display of defense and beat Our Lady of Lourdes in the OLV tournament last Friday night by a score of 43 - 28. Next game is Saturday evening against All Saints.

Does anyone know how many league games Bracken Co. 7th has lost?

I was told by a parent last night only 2 losses.. I'm not sure how 7th will look?
