I love this thread. Rockcastle is most certainly the underdog coming into this game. I am going to pick my Rockets to win this game but I wont be any part of a celebration in front of the anchor. The greatest celebration of all is when you get in the bus and go back to Mt. Vernon as winners. It drives opponents crazy when you pretend that beating them isn't a big deal.

Thank you Sir, that's why when I saw Mountain Ref's post about dancing around the Anchor I'm sure it ticked off Ads fans. Believe me I have no dog in this figth, just a casual follower, but when I was that post... It was disrespectful.

Danville is going to have a victory celebration at Marcella's Farm to Fork Saturday at Noon.

Same here, I am not a fan of either team. Just seen both play this year, and I really don't understand disrespect towards other teams on message boards.

bring on the celebration she will gladly serve you some good home cooking you will already be bringing your wine after the loss might as well order a grilled cheese to go with it ;)

delete i posted in wrong thread.

And again we won't need to pass when we will not be behind on the scoreboard. Let me say this Danvile would have played no different of a game against Lexington Catholic Boyle County lost to Catholic too and Boyle beat Danville last year. Danville is no where near LC so that's comparing oranges to apples and we did rush for almost 200 yards on Catholic last year. last week Danville only had 148 rushing yards against a very very bad Larue Co.

I am not smart and I don't claim to be... 200 yards vs LC? let me see Lovell 21-118, Robinson 7-21, Barnett 3-16, Adams 3-8, Ansadi 1-7 correct me if I am wrong but that's only 164 yrs and add the negative yard from your QB. Yes I agree Ads are not LC, but the bottom line is you all are using ground and pound attack like it's supreme offense. It's too one dimensional and if you are behind in the scoreboard, a running team will have a hard time catching up.

I imagine in this day and time law enforcement will not allow that type of celebration, That could start a major problem over an act of stupidity.

I love Friday nights this time of year.

Danville will fossilize the Rock, and the castle will be filled with Admirals partying like it's 1999. (which is probably when they were all born)

I now want to attend this game and see the Rockets. I need to figure which side I should sit on now? :idunno:

BGP section on the 50 yard line about 3/4ths of the way up...on the Danville side.

Have seen Danville twice this year and the most impressive thing ive seen is their improvement on the defensive side of the ball. If they play that way on Friday it won't be much of a game. Danville 35-14.

They only rushed for 148 but did it on 22 carries. Nearly 7 yards per carry. The running clock limited their stats more than the defense.

:ohbrother:

I was at the game. Don't let the stats fool you. Danville probably had 148 yards rushing in the first quarter. They could have scored 80 points last week if they wanted to.

In roughly 24 hours...one group will be eating chicken wings and the other will be eating crow wings. And we'll all still be friends and enjoy the night :thumb:

I can't wait.
