Russell wins by 4 TDs or more

Game wont be nearly as close as last year. Russell looked good in the grid. McKee is definitely settling in with the new offense. Greenup didnt impress me in the grid at all. Russell wins the back yard brawl with ease.

I would love to see GC get its first win ever at Russell. It will take a mistake-free game to pull that off.

This will not be a blowout. I'm picking Russell by 10 points.

I'd say you're definitely in the ball park O R.

The Musketeers are much improved but not as much as what tonight's scoreboard indicated. Their opponents helped put up alot of those points. The 1st 2 TDs were the same as served to Greenup on a silver platter. Gonna be a long fall in Vanceburg.

Hope for the kids sake they can find a way to be competitive.

Agree that the first two scores were all but handed to Greenup but they also had a td called back dropped a wide open pass in the endzone on a 4th and 8 and had it inside the Lewis Co 5 and didn't punch it in. Score could've been a lot worse. Greenups defense can keep them in any game this year. Russell is a very good football team but I dont see this as a blowout.

It's too early to predict being that the teams both Greenup and Russell have played being in scrimmage as well as in the Grid are all having a somewhat down season or rough start. I do believe Russell will win this contest by a decent margin. Conley will run like a scalded dog.

Would love to pick GC but think The Evils have to much pull away win 38-20!

I hope it's not. I like the atmosphere of a close ballgame. We play on Friday so I plan on being there for this game.

 

I just think after watching Russell dominate in the Gid-o-Rama, and figuring that TJ kept most of his plays and tricks in the bag, they will open it up on Greenup.

 

I do hope to see a tight game though.

Hunt over threw the ball which he wont get by with so easily against a much more athletic team this week. Greenup can match Russells athleticism. To me it comes down to one thing; Can we block Russell? Definitely gonna have to be a lot more physical up front this week!

Mullins made a great point in the post-game interview that Hunt needs to maintain his composure in the pocket for a couple more seconds and he will see and hit his receivers downfield.

 

This and the line play will be the keys to the ballgame.

If Greenup Co. won their opener by 35 without their "A game", that only bodes well for the Musketeers going forward. However, I think they'll need their "A game" and then some to hang with the Devils. There's a quiet confidence around the Russell program right now and I think they're primed to take another huge step forward this year.

As they should be. Good players and a great staff has that effect on a program. Lol. I by no means am ready to put greenup on russells level but I do believe they can be for one night.
