theguru
Great job LexCath! I feel sorry for the Boone players, team, coaches, school, etc. It has been a long, hard road with no end in sight. Hang in there guys.
LEX
Building blocks. The important thing is to keep on fighting if you're Boone County. Have the high school coaches put a stamp on the middle school and youth leagues, stay committed the offseason and weight room, and day by day grow as a program and it will only get better. My old coach would preach "You can't dream about State without enduring the nightmare named struggle"

Hang in there guys. It is sad to see this once football powerhouse going through quite a few rough years. I'm assuming the redistricting did not do them any favors? Clyde
Did Boone have 6 or 13? I've seen both reported.

OlDog75
Nope, dating back to Ryle. I couldn't remember if BC's downturn started with Ryle opening or redistricting after Cooper opened. Either way, from some BC folks I know they say BC is pretty much just a Florence area school now.

I'm assuming the redistricting did not do them any favors? Agree, it's like a never ending train wreck. I liken it to Lloyd in Kenton Co.

Either way, from some BC folks I know they say BC is pretty much just a Florence area school now. It mostly is. IMO, its beginning started with Ryle but I don't think many ever imagined it getting to the point that it's at now.

LEX
How did the quarterback look for Lexington Catholic, Knights fans? He performed just as we expected. He was like 14-16 for 165 yards and 2 TD. Then we sat him the second half.
