I personally don't care about the KYMSFA(?), I'm sure it's a fine organization and kids love playing in it. But this conversation as far as BCMS is concerned is "Why isn't Boyle in it?" Or "I would like to see Boyle play in it." All I did is tell you why we don't. Some of the kids and parents disagree but I believe in what our administration is doing because there is proof it works.

 

People that know a lot more than me have made this call so I'm really, really good with it.

 

Could we win it? Without question.

 

But I won't lose one second of sleep on the subject and our kids will continue to prepare to add to the wall on the back of Rebel Stadium.

Never will...Coach Smith wants the kids to play other sports, we are already a member of a conference and middle school titles are not the goal.

 

If you get a chance to see BCMS play football you will agree with my assertion that the players I mentioned are worthy of consideration.

 

Zachary Laphart (spelling??) is a really good player for Anderson Co at RB/LB.

Boyle Co unexpectedly put a pretty good whipping on Anderson last week. Two starting lineman for Anderson went down with injuries before the game and it really hurt them. With that said, yes, Boyle has some players for sure.

Well it certainly wasn't unexpected from anyone inside of Boyle County. More than half of the starters from last years BCMS A Team (8th grade) that beat Anderson 26-0 were 7th graders. This years team is significantly better than last year on both sides of the ball.

As far as a blowout...it was totally unexpected from the Anderson group. The coaches knew going in it would be a tough game...quite possibly the toughest of the regular season, but no one dreamed it would be how it turned out. Of course as soon as they knew they had two starting lineman that would miss with injuries, it was going to be even tougher. With all that said, Boyle is good, point blank, no doubt about it.

22-0 I think...w/negative yards for ACMS.

Throw in Keaton Martin from South Oldham. Kid is a beast as a RB and LB. Very good team but he is the main player. Look for the Dragons to make some noise come playoff time and he will be a big reason.
