I disagree 1000% . Young Republicans are leaning more and more libertarian. Paul is the face of that movement.

Although, they may not pass the litany of litmus tests from some of the "more conservative than art thou" crowd that gets going on this board.

I think I get what you are saying. But yes I think younger republicans have changed from the older generation.

The core is still fiscal conservatism . But that thought process has moved us to want to reform the justice system and the war on drugs. It makes fiscal sense.

Doing everything he can to court the Hispanic vote.

That reporter actually does work for Univision.

Am I in the minority in thinking that Ramos was in the wrong and his conduct was out of line? Not that Trump responded kindly, but he was in the midst of being questioned by another reporter when Ramos starts yelling at him. Once he settled down, he was let back into the press conference and questioned/debated Trump on the immigration issue. He has been a very outspoken critic of The Donald.

It sounds like it was a bit out of line for a formal press conference situation.

Sure it was out of line but DT made himself the story with his absurd response. Just another way of showing he doesn't get it.

I have to admit, I'm fascinated with what's going on. Trump is defying all conventional wisdom on campaigning. I don't know how many "explanations" I've read from journalists, insiders, commentators, social scientists, etc. about how Trump has managed to maintain his lead. Some make sense, others don't, but no one seems to agree on everything and it all begs the question of where these analyses were months ago.

There's still a long way to go before any voting takes place, so there's plenty of time for Trump to derail, Bush to win, and everyone to say "see? nothing unusual." But the longer this goes on the more I wonder. I'm resisting the urge to make any broad conclusions about it now.
