@chrisCotillo: Source: John Lamb not yet informed of any trade. So at this point, players have not been informed on either side.

@chrisCotillo: Three lefties rumored to be involved in Cueto deal, via reports: Finnegan, Manaea, Lamb.

Do you or anyone have any information on these 3 guys? Didn't watch any post season baseball last season and don't follow the Royals, so know nothing of Finnegan or the minor leaguers

Off the top of my head Manea is a tall lefty about 6'5" with a FB that touches the mid 90's to go along with a slider and a change. Finnegan is an undersized lefty probably about the same size as Cueto but also posses a mid 90s FB to go along with a nice slider that he helped learn how to throw from Rodon of the Chi Sox and a change. Both guys have the potential to be number 3 starters worst case scenario although Finnegan is already a reliever and if he doesn't work out his control issues will probably remain there in the long run. Both guys have been considered top 100 prospects if not top 50. Not really sure about Lamb although reports are he was also a highly touted prospect but is now about older and the prestige has worn off. Never would've dreamt the Royals would part with their two top left handed pitching prospects that are nationally regarded guys nationally. Would've been nice to get a bat but you can't complain about this package if it's true, lefties with the talent of these guys don't grow on trees.

Pretty great read on Lamb. Even more stoked about this package after reading that he was once the 11th best prospect in baseball before his injury. Reports are he has regained his velocity and is still may be the top 20 talent he was expected to be. He might be more intriguing a prospect than Finnegan and Manea. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in the Reds rotation to fill out the year.

Hopefully this package is legit.

KC Royals: John Lamb Is Back On The Radar

For what its work, Rockies radio team is reporting the reds are telling them no deal yet for Cueto.

What a mess.

There are reports everywhere that there is no deal. Also reports that KC says the deal is on track and reports on the Reds side is they no nothing of a deal, typical Reds. One report although said to be fake even says the Reds are now in talks with the Yankees involving Cueto.

New reports say the deal could be with the Yankees...

This is a mess

This is a mess

Did you expect this to happen any differently?
