Predict UK's record

Featured Replies

6-6. IMO EKU and Charlotte are blowouts. Vandy and Louisiana are 2+ TD wins. I think Louisville and Florida are close wins, because UK played both very close last year, and will be a better overall team. Don't know if I can say the same about either UF or UofL. Plus, both games will now be at home, which won't hurt. Mizzou, South Carolina, Miss State will be close loses. Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia will for sure be losses. Seems like i'm more optimistic than most posters, and hopefully not sipping the blue kool-aid too much.

I've been reading up on a lot of the coaches comments this past week. They seem to have a pretty positive outlook on this teams potential. Obviously they are not going to talk the team down before a game is ever played, but there seems to be some bounce in their step when talking about how the team has improved in the areas needed. So

I'll make a prediction of 6-6 in the regular season and a possible bowl win. Which in my opinion would be a game changer for Stoops and crew. They have some great recruiting classes lined up and higher rated recruits seem to be taking more notice every day, with elite recruits showing interest. A bowl game and potential bowl win would do wonders for keeping these kids interested and bringing more into the program. If Stoops and the team can do what's needed to keep the '16 class in tact, the sky appears to be the limit for future recruiting.

For the same reasons you give, I'm predicting 7-5, plus a bowl win (for 8-5).

4-8. I don't know which one but I should hope they could get lucky and not go winless in every conference game.

I think last years' seniors went an entire career without a road win so I'm going to have to witness them actually doing so before I pick them to. Of course if it happens, the best chance is against Vandy.

Since Louisville will likely actually be playing for bowl position at the end of the year I don't see UK winning that one, but the Cats should win the other three non conference games.

For the rest of the home games, I think Florida is the best chance for a win as it is early in the schedule and I don't think they're very good, but again there's that whole streak thing.

Watched a UK season preview on the SEC Network tonight. They picked the Cats to go 8-4. Wins against UL Lafayette, South Carolina, Florida, Eastern Kentucky, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, & Louisville. Losses to Missouri, Auburn, Tennessee, & Georgia.

Yep, I missed that one. Thanks for the correction. :thumb:

Why were Mrs. Barnhart and Mrs. Stoops on the show doing predictions? That seems unusual.

Very managable schedule for Kentucky this year.

Definite wins over Louisiana, EKU, Vandy, and Charlotte IMO.

Winnable home games against Florida, Missouri, Tennessee (maybe a stretch) & Louisville.

No shot games: Auburn, @Georgia, and @Mississippi State.

Toss-Up: @USC

I'm going with 7-5.

13-0

I just got a tattoo of it on my shoulder!
