It is in no way related to a booster, board member, nepotism, or any other exciting "gossipable" reason. Actually the reason is quite boring. It in no way is a negative mark on the old coach, nor is it any of those other things people like to gossip about. It also had nothing to do with his coaching ability or the success of the program. It had nothing to do with a player, a student or another faculty member. (I'm trying to eliminate all the exciting reasons people may come up with) because I am not at liberty to say the reason, but it really not important nor exciting. Sorry!!! :sleep: :sleep:

 

 

Thanks for clarifying everything for us..... if the coach left because he isnt happy there then that is his choice and he has every right to leave.... its just a shame for the kids. It should be interesting to see who they hire though....I heard a rumor a 5th grade coach from a neighboring city was asked to throw his name in the hat by a board member last year when the head position was open and that came directly from him. I'm sorry but when you start asking Bill Tom down at the bar who coaches a bunch of 5th graders if he is interested in a Head Varsity position, there is a problem.

Fair enough but until you can give us some facts I'm going with my creditable source. Very close to the situation and seems to have solid info. Quite possibly you are someone with all due respect just trying to do a little damage control on behalf of the school. It's been known to happen quite often and lots of coaches, administrators, AD's and teachers read BGP's with their morning coffee.

I just looked up the list of Board members and yes, there is one name listed that is the same as a last name I saw on the roster last season. I don't remember seeing it in the box score much though....hmmmmmmmmmm

 

:thumb: Not at all trying to stir it up but everything is just adding up IMO as you see from your research. Hopefully Bellevue can find a coach and keep him and get a little continuity back in their program. The kids deserve it.

Especially coaches who cannot even win Grade School league league titles.....its one thing if they have an "in" on a top prospect with considerable experience and can recommend it to the A.D or other board members but to pass that job off lightly like that.... it shows a lack of seriousness or basic intellect into the position itself.

Not trying to stir anything up either..... still bleed the black n gold so sometimes when I see the lack of continuity it hits a nerve...They have a very good Superintendant there now who was an old Tiger Coach back in the heydey so I am sure he will make sure the right choice is made. I hope so....

For the record, the AD deserves credit for bringing good, qualified coaches. The other administration deserves credit for losing those coaches. Wolfzorn did NOT leave, he was told to. Some of the posts and reasons are comical. Bottom line, don't tick off the wrong person. THAT'S A FACT!!!

He was told he could stay as basketball coach, in the beginning. They later reneged on that offer.

 

Here's the thing. The ineptness of this principal is astounding. The baskeball job's not even posted yet. That means two things, he has(d) someone considered for the job or he's clueless. Your guess is as good as mine...however I have my opinion.
