Someone must have called the US Attorney...3 minutes ago this was an act of Domestic Terrorism and now he comes back on and it's not. Says the investigation will determine what it is.

And I am fine with this. Do the investigation correctly and then decide what happened. I am confident that it will be ruled domestic terrorism. Sadly we live in a time where people wand answers now, then they get the rushed answers, then when they investigate further and change their words, people wonder what the heck they are hiding and all.

Possibly no but at least they would have had a chance. When you neuter the Marines by not letting them be armed with the firearms the Corp trains them to use, they basically had no chance at all.

Maybe so but regardless, if I was one of those Marines, I would have preferred going down reaching for my gun even if I didn't have time to draw it rather than helplessly taking fire.

A gun is better than no gun, and a 10% chance is better than a 0% chance.

 

One thing I can tell you 100% is gun free zones don't work. 10/10 psychos/murderers prefer them.

I will wait until the investigation plays out but I don't think gun free zone or not is the issue. The guy was going after military targets, gun or not.

Certain people in our nation feel protected by a sticker, certain people feel protected by a gun. I don't know which side you're on or if you want to share but this certainly isn't the first instance where we have to decide.

Keep in mind the killers like this KNOW the marines cannot be armed. Don't underestimate that that helps them decide where to start shooting. How we can tell marines they cannot be armed is beyond me.
