Who are your "No Trade" list ?

That manager probably has a winning record this year if his GM didn't give him a terrible bullpen to work with. Price has made some dumb decisions, but they look even worst than they really are because of the pieces that Walt gave him to work with. Joe Madden could be managing this team and this team probably would be barely better than what they are, because the bullpen still would suck for him too because their bullpen is just bad all the way around.

So you mean to tell me that with 2 pitching coaches on the staff, they can't figure it out? Price and Pico look as if they've done nothing to help the pitching. There is no reason that this pitching staff should be as bad as it is.

What exactly do you expect a pitching coach to do? Its very simple a pitching coach and tell you all the right things to do, but at the end of the day the pitcher has to perform. If it was so easy to fix bad pitchers, teams wouldn't need to trade for better pitchers because you can just fix what you have. This is not football where coaches can scheme and hide their weak players the best they can. In baseball if you have weak pitchers, there is not much you can do to fix that rather than to get rid of them. So for you to act like Price or Pico could have done more to make the bullpen better is interesting to say the least.

Joe Madden is mismanaging his team out of contention with the way he is handling his bullpen.

The inability of Hamilton to get on base as a leadoff hitter has just crippled the offense the past 2 seasons as well.

Which he took him out of the leadoff spot too. Price has done some stupid stuff, however I disagree with people who act like he is the main reason they are struggling. We could have the best manager in the world and maybe at best be just a few games better than we are now if that.

This very thread is why I barley follow baseball anymore. The whole fire sale mentality annoys me. Baseball needs a salary cap like all other professional sports.

Because that has prevented all of those NBA teams from trading away all of their assets in order to tank for a higher draft pick or the Colts from tanking to get Andrew Luck.

NBA and NFL teams rarely trade good young players about to enter or in their prime unless they player demands it. It's not very often it happens because of money.

The NBA has the Bird rule so teams can keep their stars.

Or unless they are un-coachable, Wil Myers.

The Colts didn't tank to get Andrew Luck. They sucked because Peyton Manning didn't play, and without him they had no offense and already bad defense.

Completely agree! I wish baseball would get a salary cap, I think that would make things very interesting!

Mike Trout was a comp pick for Teixiera walking from the Angels.

I think it was Buster Olney I heard today say he would be "shocked" if the NYY did not get either Chapman or Craig Kimbrel.

If that's the case Betances, Miller and Chapman/Kimbrel will be lethal at the end of games. Their opponents better have the lead after 6.
