July 8, 201511 yr ^ that's what I like to see--the church taking a stand :ohbrother: The Anglican Church of Canada already went down this road (Episcopalians are Anglicans in America) some time in the early 2000's. If you can find an article by J.I. Packer called, "Why I Left" (I think), you will see some of the issues involved and why there are those who won't go along with the changing more's of the culture or, in this case, the denomination. BTW, J.I. Packer has been one of the most influential Evangelical church leaders/theologians over the past 40-50 years beginning with his book, Knowing God in 1973.
