2014 Augusta was honored to play in this event. Truly a class showcase run by classy people. Coach Hardin is one of the all time great people in KY HS basketball. Thanks to all who work so hard annually who make this first class event possible.

Really looking forward to this years KOB tournament! The staff and volunteers do a great job with this event. Always a great atmosphere, and the mix of local and out of state teams is always interesting.

Do you still think BG will win it without Booker?

That is a HUGE loss! Just found out they lost him for a while.... Honestly, I do not. Bowling Greens primary weakness was their depth at the guard position. Without Booker, they will struggle to get the ball up the floor against pressure....

It'll be interesting to see who develops and gets better while he is out. They still have some talent and good pieces but like you said I am not sold they can win the KOB without Booker.

Why is he out?

Why is he out?

Broke his wrist in their last game.

Wow! Hate to hear that for him.

Are there any websites or radio stations that will be streaming the King of the Bluegrass? Anyone going that may be us using the like Periscope app? Some great games will be taking place that I would love to see....

I was wondering the same thing until I saw the following tweet from Evan Daniels..

It amazes me that a declining event like the King of the Bluegrass would deny players the opportunity to be seen by denying national media.

That is ridiculous! Evidently, whoever is running this event has not caught up with the times.... They are losing sooo much money from not having live streaming. The average basketball enthusiast is not driving hundreds of miles for a 4 day tourney that can really be completed in 2 just to watch teams With kids that are not theirs. The average enthusiast WILL pay 10-20 dollars to stream from the comfort of their homes.

You can follow me on twitter @RealCoachQ for updates tonight. Not sure about tomorrow.

Exactly!! Scouting services aren't getting any love either. Per NextUpRecruits....

No scouting services being credentialed for the King of the Bluegrass is a bad look, costing in state talent exposure to college subscribers.

We don't mind you pimping here a little bit but if you are going to do that you need to keep us updated on BGP too.

I don't know guys. The state football finals were streamed with a small charge ($15 for all six games) and people didn't seem too happy about it and expected it for free.

In this case I doubt the KOB could even cover their costs if they streamed the games.

And any of us in the business know the guy that runs the King of the Bluegrass is pretty hardcore and wants everything to flow in his direction.
