Some very high quality basketball right here. Looks like BGP will either have a new #1 team after this tournament or the #1 ranking will be validated.

 

The top 4 of BGP's rankings will be at this tournament along with Fern Creek, Trinity, Ballard, Owen County and Central.

 

If an in-state team wins it, they'll very likely be my #1.

I met my boy @PurplePride92 at the KOB a couple years ago (or was it last year?).

 

If anybody comes up for the weekend games, may be a good opportunity for a gathering.

Is there a reason why this last so many days??? Money maybe? Just doesn't make since that it would take 5 days to have so few games?!?!

 

The main reason is because the event is entirely too big to be held at Fairdale, but that's where it's been for years.

It used to be that the price of admission gave you access to at least 2 games in 2 adjoining gyms, meaning 4 games in total. I understand that you cannot watch 2 games at once, but at least you could choose which of the games to watch. I assume it will be run that same way this year. I always thought it was a pretty good deal.......and the location is very accessible right off I-65 in southern Louisville.

 

While it can be tough choosing which games to watch, it is a great value.

28 games…5 days and they DON"T play at 8, 9, 10, ……. am…games are 4:30, 6:00, 7:30, 9:00…on the last day they start at 3:00, 4:30, 6:00 and Championship at 7:30.

The community of Fairdale puts this on…99% volunteers. Days 3 and 4 games in both gyms, one entrance, one price $8.00 11 of top 18 in KY with Big time out of state teams.

I expect good updates from these games.

King of the Bluegrass OVERTIME because Bryan Station has two of thier top 3 players out until late January or Februaru they have requested to be replaced. We are proud to announce that North Bullitt, a big surprise this season, will replace them. North Bullitt is very well coached…shoot the lights out of, especially the 3's. They are extremely quick and after seeing them in action I was very impressed with them. Please don't judge them from thier past history…as of today they are 3 - 0 and putting up some big numbers. Paul VI has two Division I players. V. J. King has comitted to Louisville and will be the feature player. They also have a Corey Managualt who signed with Pittsburg. December 20, 2015 - Fairdale High School - 4:00 PM - $10. Doors open at 3:00 PM

Forcht Bank King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic starts Friday December 18th at Fairdale High School. 12 Kentucky Teams, four out-of-state teams…all with big time players.
