Great Tournament, 20 times better than LIT.

If only the LIT would go back to the old format of bringing in the top teams from around the city. It used to be by far the biggest in-season tournament in the state.

I remember those days.

Is there a reason why this last so many days??? Money maybe? Just doesn't make since that it would take 5 days to have so few games?!?!

It's not like going to an AAU tourney. They have a massive crowd that shows up hours before the first game. Logistically they have to space it out.

Plenty of AAU tournaments have MASSIVE crowds... This is not the only Holiday Tourney that does this... I am just curious as to why they do it. Seems to primarily gain more from entry fees each day.

It used to be that the price of admission gave you access to at least 2 games in 2 adjoining gyms, meaning 4 games in total. I understand that you cannot watch 2 games at once, but at least you could choose which of the games to watch. I assume it will be run that same way this year. I always thought it was a pretty good deal.......and the location is very accessible right off I-65 in southern Louisville.

28 games in five days. 4:30, 6:00, 7:00 and 9:00 except for the last daythen it is 3:00, 4:30, 6:00, and Championship at 7:30 to meet media deadlines.

First round Friday and Saturday

All 16 teams play on Monday and Tuesday in two gyms divided by the lobby…price $8.00

7 of C-J Top 10

10 of 11 Kentucky schools in Top 18

Big time national players / teams from out-of-state…7'!' (Jr) Zack Brown offered by UK. He palys for Miami Senior High at 9:00 PM on Saturday night

Sunday, December 20th, a doy off from the tournament: Paul VI - Fairfax, VA vs Lexinfton Bryan Station. Paul VI Catholic High School features UL signee V. J. King. The game will be at 4:00 @ Fairdale…all tickets $10.

I always look forward to this event. Well run and some great known and unknown talent.

I'm sure they make a good amount of money. But they also have a great reputation of taking care of the teams that attend.

Can't wait for this now. So many high ranked KY teams in this. I only wish WKy was represented a little more (Hoptown/Christian Co.). BG will have to carry the load. Every game on there should be good at least the in state teams. I don't know enough about the out of state teams to know.

Some very high quality basketball right here. Looks like BGP will either have a new #1 team after this tournament or the #1 ranking will be validated.

The top 4 of BGP's rankings will be at this tournament along with Fern Creek, Trinity, Ballard, Owen County and Central.

My thoughts exactly
