What type of Soda/Pop do you drink?

What's that supposed to mean? :angrybird1:

This isn't fair. You two need to sort it out and then come back at me.

It has been 6-7 years since I have had a soft drink, but I was partial to Fresca, Diet Cherry Coke, and Fanta if I remember. Glad I got off the stuff. Last year I did get sick after a 10 hour training day and I took in about 2 ounces of coke to settle my stomach. Same with post-Florida Ironman race, took in about 4 ounces of Ginger Ale.

Glad you didn't overdo it.

Made me laugh out loud pops.

My mission in life. I am now completed.

Glad you didn't overdo it.

Everything in moderation.

Haven't had a soda in 6 years but when I did drink them I liked sun drop and mountain dew

I used to love Barq's diet red creme soda, but it's no longer being made. Been trying to avoid any diet pop that has aspartame. Drinking Diet Rite Tangerine now, will give Diet Pepsi a try when they convert their diet line over to a non aspartame sweetner.

That's where I am with Aspartame too... I'm a little leary of its possible harmful effects.

Until about 5 years ago I wouldn't have considered life without a carbonated beverage, then I started weaning myself off of them.

Most of my life, because I was a chubby kid, I'd reach for diet anything thinking that I was doing myself a favor, but certainly also dug just about anything with the real deal sugar in it too. Then I started to think that maybe a steady diet of any of it wasn't such a great idea one way or another.

Now it's just pretty much just water or unsweetened tea, and coffee only in the morning.

Once in a blue moon I'll cave, but thankfully my new normal is hardly anything carbonated at all.

Daughter hasn't drank anything carbonated in 14 years.

Ms. Slick drinks more diet dews than anyone I've ever met.

Pepsi for me 90% of the time. Coke or Cherry Coke when Pepsi isn't an option.

In a carbonated beverage world that streak sounds to be like some sort of world record. I bet that it has paid off in her health too to have had the good sense to so long ago drop it from her diet.

Weird coincidence is that just as I was typing this a McDonalds commercial just came on the tube pushing Coke.

I'm convinced that a lot of our societal weight problems come from "soft" drinks.
