EKU would be ideal. It's relatively Central so hopefully after the renovations something can come of it.

The difference in stadiums is the atmosphere. The smaller venues are better suited for these games.

 

For example, I think the 13,000 in 2010 (Boyle/ACS) played at WKU was a better atmosphere than the 26,000 in 2003 (T/X) in Papa Johns.

 

And without question, the average 6,000 fans attending the majority of the championship games are better suited to a WKU or EKU size stadium.

 

I have one of the longest drives of anyone to get there, but I really prefer WKU as a venue. (and it pains me to say that because I had access to a skybox at PJCS)

How many locations has the championship game been played at and where

Pivoting on that and winning team (and not looking for any oddities)... There are 7 unique site names (not counting the 1960 NA and not knowing if a site is the same but listed as diff name).

Two teams have wins in 5 sites.

Then what made Cooper decide to petition for a move from 5A to 6A? I quote kentucky.com: The new re-alignment proposal "includes several schools voluntarily competing in a higher classification than their enrollment would allow. Traditional powers Covington Catholic and Highlands, for example, will move from Class 4A to 5A. Conner and Cooper will go from 5A to 6A."

I am guessing the only way Coop gets out of NKY is to go to 6A because the two teams you mentioned would most certainly prove to be tough outs in 5A NKY, not being brash or as some elitist but talking facts, so the move to 6A is in their best interest if they want to see the playoffs, jmo...:thumb:

I don't feel sorry for any one of you that have to travel to bowling green. 1st of all you are in a state final and 2nd us WKYers we have to travel to lexington for almost everything.
