I'm not a fan of them. Seen couple videos on facebook though. Some guy poking a stick at an anaconda's head is not something you wanna do...

 

Seen another video of a little boy laying around on a python and pretty much playing with it, like a big pet...

 

Seen another video of some guy in a room with black Cobra's, picking them up and dropping them on himself...

 

Yeah those are NOT smart moves...

For the record, I do not, I run really fast, I think if they timed me I would be at about a 3.97 in the forty....

I've never had any interest in having a snake as a pet...or any reptile for that matter. I don't understand the interest in keeping reptiles for pets.

 

However, I do think snakes are fascinating. We used to catch them in the woods all the time as kids, and it's never bothered me to hold one or anything like that. ...I'm usually the guy who all of my friends and family turn to if they have a snake that needs to get fetched out of their garage or yard or something.

I have zero pride when it comes to snakes...if there is one in our yard my wife or daughter handle it...for spiders they call me!

Not a fan in any way in person...I can watch videos and Nat Geo snake programs no problem...but I aint touching one.

I used to play with a ball python quite often so I guess I'm in the fan category.

I don't like them at all. The reason is, I just cannot tell if they are poisonous or not. If I knew it wasn't then I'd really have no problem handling them.

I think snakes are fascinating. I'm not afraid of them and they are very useful in nature.

 

However, they belong in nature. I have never had any desire to have one as a pet.

If they have cats eyes they are poisonous.
