I don't think it matters. Whoever was going to hear the appeal there would people on either side saying it was the wrong person. The other question I'd love to know is if the Patriots did nothing wrong, according to the Patriots, then why did they suspend without pay the 2 equipment guys? Hmmmmm

The Colts Footballs were not found under the limit on both gauges so therefore the Pats balls were not under inflated naturally. Both sets of footballs were in the same weather conditions therefore nature didn't act differently on one sideline than it did on the other sideline. There is your proof, now I challenge you to stick to your word. Same weather conditions, yes. But balls are allowed to be within a range of pressure. Maybe Andrew Luck likes the balls inflated to a higher pressure, so if the Colt's balls started at a higher PSI than the Patriot's balls, then obviously they'd be at a higher pressure even after being exposed to the cold, and possibly still within an acceptable range. The same weather conditions argument only is foolproof if both teams balls started at the exact same PSI.

Many of the Pats balls were more than a pound under the 12.5 I would love to know then how much the psi can drop in an hour at those conditions because if it is 2 pounds an hour as some of the balls were close to just by halftime, then by the end of a game many of the balls would have been flat. That is a fact. Even in the Freezer Bowl and Ice Bowl I never saw deflated footballs being tossed around and that was much MUCH colder than the Pats/Colts game. Again, it wasn't the natural gas garbage lol. Again, I ask, please explain why deflating after the inspection using your idea of what might have happened. Then that also proves my point....if the Colts equipment guys overinflated to the top of the psi legal level, then why wouldn't the Pats equipment guys prepare their footballs to Brady's liking by having those inflated to the minimum requirement? Again you kind of caught yourself proving my point about why deflate them after the inspections.

Let's pretend for the sake of your argument that all the balls were filled to the same PSI level, then why were they all different when tested again at halftime? Wouldn't the "Natural Gas Law" be the same for every football? Or are you saying that every football is different so some only decrease PSI a very little bit while another football deflates much faster? Trying to understand the logic that the Natural Gas Law affects not only different sidelines differently but also different footballs on the same sideline differently.

It will drop as the air molecules "slow down" until it reaches an equilibrium point. Think about it, if it did just continue to drop and drop, eventually your tires would go eventually go completely flat in the winter time (although if left alone long enough, they will, but that's due to tires not being completely air tight). I agree with a lot of what you say in this post. I don't think, as you do , that it really makes much of a difference in having them deflated under or not, the only advantage it gives is easier to hold on to the ball period. Just easier to grip is all. As far as how big of a deal this is, it really isn't about the deflated footballs being such a huge deal, but rather the cheating itself is what makes it a big deal. When someone cheats it doesn't benefit them all the time. That game for instance it had no bearing on the outcome, but the week before it very well could have played a part in the outcome of that game. It's just cheating period that is the big deal to me. I am not a Brady fan, but that isn't why I think it's such a big deal. I'd be all up in arms if it was AJ Green cheating. I grew up a Big Red Machine fan and was a huge Rose fan, but after the gambling thing came out even before he admitted it I knew he had done it and think of him in the same light I think of anyone who either cheats or does something they know takes away from the integrity of the game purposely. Any player I'd feel the same about when it comes to cheating like this. Jerry Rice admitting to using illegal substance on his gloves...cheater in my book. I don't excuse someone simply because I liked them as a player.

Why can't you understand that the psi on the Colts balls being over the limit means zip. Unless you can tell me what the pregame PSI was on all the balls you it doesn't matter. Do you honestly believe every massed produced football is exactly the same? Seriously? I don't even understand your first statement. First you say not one was under on according to both gauges then you say one showed some under and one showed all over. You're trying to look at all of this in vacuum. Unless all 24 balls were exactly the same, were all prepared the same, all went through the exact same use at practice, were all handled the exact same, and were all inflated in the same conditions, then yes the logic is natural gas law will affect each one differently.
