May 8, 201511 yr Grantland isn't the TV show. Its the website, which is very good, and covers lots of topics. The TV show is just shown occasionally. Two different times I have seen Simmons on TV in a living room type setting talking with people and it was branded Grantland.

The question is do these products stay at the same quality without him and who at ESPN currently can take the mantle as the creative mind. Simmons will find work that won't be a problem.

If nothing else, somebody will pay handsomely for him to bash on Goddell, as well as ESPN and the way it does things.
