March 28, 201511 yr I was watching one of the sports shows on tv, maybe Finebaum, and they said that Tyndall had attempted to erase some damaging emails,or some type of messaging, and the NCAA investigators were able to pull it back up. I suppose a "Smoking Gun", scenario.

March 28, 201511 yr His last stop was Texas Tech in 2011 - 2012. That's what I was thinking, but that I might have missed him being hired by a Juco college, High School, etc. Am probably the only person in the state of Kentucky that liked him as a Coach, lol.

March 29, 201511 yr I heard an interesting thing today on College Sports Channel on Sirius and they said when Tyndall was hired the Tennessee AD Dave Hart had never talked to Tyndall in person or on the phone and called him and told him the job was his. So not sure how much they vetted Tyndall this call came about 2 hrs after Louisiana Tech coach Mike White turned the Vols job down. If this is all true I think that Hart's job should be in jeopardy, because Southern Miss was not the first time their had been any controversy with Tyndall he got a wrist slap for some improprieties at Morehead St.

April 2, 201511 yr Justin Phelps, Beau Braden, J.T. Burton, Ty Proffitt and Todd Moyer have all lost their jobs. Still undetermined on Al Pinkins and Chris Shumate. Additionally, assistant coach Jareem Dowling has resigned at Southern Miss. He was with Tyndall at MSU and USM.
