April 2, 201511 yr I heard an interesting thing today on College Sports Channel on Sirius and they said when Tyndall was hired the Tennessee AD Dave Hart had never talked to Tyndall in person or on the phone and called him and told him the job was his. So not sure how much they vetted Tyndall this call came about 2 hrs after Louisiana Tech coach Mike White turned the Vols job down. If this is all true I think that Hart's job should be in jeopardy, because Southern Miss was not the first time their had been any controversy with Tyndall he got a wrist slap for some improprieties at Morehead St. Because teams hire search firms as a buffer and protection.
