Question For Twitter Users

Apparently, I do have a Twitter account! I am following 54 people and have 6 followers.

I have no memory of setting this account up but the people I'm following are mostly UK players past and present so I guess I did. Who knew?!

:idunno:

I'm following 370. Probably time to cull them. Mostly follow newsmen and women, either sports or hard news writers comprise the bulk of my feed.

Also several accounts that specifically detail the goings-on of teams I follow or other things I like (for example one that focuses on beer in Louisville).

A few joke accounts as well. Current favorite: Kim Kierkegaardashian, an account tweeting as if it were Kim Kardashian with a twinge of fatalistic existentialism.

My question to those of you who are following hundreds of people, publications etc - how in the world to you keep up with all of the feeds? I follow 52 - and I get a ton of feeds daily. I cant imagine the congestion if I had 200. Some of you have 500-800?????

I have 30 followers. I've been considering a membership drive!!!

If a tweet falls on deaf ears - does it make a noise??

Following 400 even. Most are people I know. Indiana , reds, Bengals accounts.

I feel privileged that Rockmom follows me now. ;)

I mainly use mine for any kind of football news.

Lists.

I typically get on Twitter a couple times a day, go to my Personal list, and just read from the top down.

I need to set lists up on mine...

I'm also not as cool as you, so I don't have as many Follow/Followers...

I have a BGP list but I don't have that much trouble sorting thru my entire TL.

I was not aware I could make lists. I'll have to check it out. Thanks

I've got at 258 right now that I follow. I added a whole bunch of people when I started the account just to get people to follow me, but not so many any more over the past few months. My Twitter activity is mostly for trading info back and forth, as most of you know. I do follow some other news-, sports-, music- and Bourbon-related feeds as well for personal use.

One of my favorites is the Texts From Last Night feed. Very NSFW, but very hilarious. I look forward to those every day.

Is it @TEXtsfln ?

39, mainly sports media. I downsize during particular seasons. For instance, I stopped following a fb writer as he is now live tweeting UK baseball. Just clutters things up. I try not to follow too many from the same sport or genre as they get real repetitive and retweet each other.
