Since 2000, 11 of the 16 years they have drawn not only the 7th Region 5 times they have also drawn into a bracket that had them playing either the 11th region Region, 9th Region and/or the STATE CHAMPS 11 of the 16 years in the 2nd round game!

 

2000 Johnson Central beat Hopkins Co. Central only to play Elizabethtown in the 2nd rd -State Camps.

2001-

2002 Shelby Valley lost to Oldham Co. Would have played Lex. Catholic in the 2nd rd- State Champs.

2003 Shelby Valley lost to Lou. Ballard 1st rd.
