My mom rents it and i am sitting in the living room watching the movie and asking mom what is that they are eating in the car? She had no idea and didn't know what to tell me.

This is the Earl Manigault Rule. Even though the name wasn't real, the actor was portraying a real-life basketball player. Problem with Jimmy Chitwood is...he wasn't really fictional as he was directly modeled after Bobby Plump. Does that make him semi-fictional?:idunno: In the movie he even took the exact shot from the exact spot on the floor as Plump did in the final. I just read that little tidbit of info this weekend as I Googled info on the movie while watching it.
