How much more money is Oakland offering guaranteed over Green Bay? 1 million? That's pennies in the NFL for a guy with his perceived talent.

 

My point is that he improves his worth in Green Bay. If he is thinking guaranteed money and long term then in 2-4 years he should be able to command more than 11 million is what I am saying. If he goes to Oakland in 2-4 years he's a 5 million dollar receiver.

You are going to see Oakland and Jacksonville tagged to almost every free agent this upcoming period. Most cap space and most holes to fill. If he hits open market, Jacksonville will throw an offer at him too.

GB still has Jordy Nelson and Devante Adams is looking like he could be solid. Cobb will look to get paid big time.

I also don't blame Green Bay if they don't go over 10 million for Cobb. I love Cobb but he'd have to prove to me that he isn't the product of a system with the best QB in the league throwing to him. If he leaves we won't hear from him again.

All things being equal in the two contracts except the $1 million a year difference in salary...then yes he would be dumb to go to Oakland and that HORRIBLE organization.
