I think it'll be Mason and Campbell in the finals and Mason will get "over the hump" and head to Rupp in a close one. My reasoning is that Mason has been the most consistent of all the teams in the field this year and let's don't forget, they have two (2) years of frustration to motivate them.

But man, seeing Campbell County the other night made me go back and forth.

If Mason County gets past Harrison, I see the Royals going to Rupp.

I believe Mason is the best team in the field, but at the same time, we're only a year removed from Montgomery County appearing to be the prohibitive favorite, yet they went home without the hardware.

 

Strange things sometimes happen in post season play. The best team doesn't always win.

 

Agree 100%. Why I didn't pick the favorite, Mason Co, to win it all. They have the bulls eye on thier back and all the teams will be gunning for them and most likely playing their best game. I believe there will be some upsets....who???? Wish I had a crystal ball....:lol2:

IMO Mason is the strong pick to return to Rupp, I think this tournament has a special feel to it.

A- it's March Madness

B- haven't been to regional tournament since 2012

C- Harrison Co is a tough 1st round game

D- Campbell and Pendleton are both playing very well at the right time.

Oh and E- it's Mason County everyone hates them
