February 23, 201511 yr Was Jones dismissed by Pitino or by the university? Big difference. Not sure. I just heard ESPN claim that Pitino was who originally suspended and reinstated him over the prior incident. However they did now say who dismissed him.
February 23, 201511 yr It will all come out sooner than later. The worst part as far as the team goes is that it happened when it happened. So close to the tournament and all.
February 23, 201511 yr I wasn't bothered by it. I did think it looked bad that he was suspended a day before a game, then allowed to play in the game and then dismissed from the team the next day. Just looked bad. Looks bad even though we don't know why he was suspended or why he was kicked off the team? Got it. :thumb:

I have already posted numerous times in this thread my thoughts on Lousiville Basketball program. Now sir, if it is alright with you I would rather move on to the subject at hand. February 23, 201511 yr I thought UL's media guy said Jones is in Hollywood for a few nights. Rick needed him in practice so he dismissed him. Jones was a nominee for best actor in a series is the word. I see him being back on team by NCAA. Acting is a tough gig, along with being on the nations overall best team.

I believe I heard somewhere he was suspended for missing classes. Why he was dismissed from the team is something different from what I am hearing. Now both are just conjecture, just going off of what I heard.

If that was the case then Mark Stoops would be a goner in your eyes. Harrell acts like a punk on court. That is my opinion. Saying it may be time for Pitino to move on isn't anything new either. You sound as if that was the first time that very thought had ever came up, it isn't.
February 23, 201511 yr Why should CRP move on? He's won more games than anybody the last 3 years and his team has a high graduation rate and one of the highest GPA's in the ACC. You assume Harrell ment to hit the guy in the face. Maybe he did maybe not. I tend to think he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer but is no worse than Demarcus Cousins. Cornell Daily Sun
