February 21, 201511 yr In both the 6-10 day outlook and the 8-14 day outlooks we are still looking at below normal temps. In the 6-10 day outlook starting on February 27 to March 3 we have 80-90% chance of below normal temps. Also we have 40-50% chance of above normal precip so I wouldn't put the snow shovels up just yet. In the 8-14 day outlook there are some signs of temps moderating but they still look to be below normal and precip is still above normal. February 21, 201511 yr Awesome. Alaska is probably looking like a pretty good vacation spot at this point in time to some. I don't mind it personally, this is my off season so I don't have to work if I don't want to. But I've made some pretty good money by going out with the snowblower this week, picked up a few spring/summer/fall accounts from it too.

It looks like it would be heading our way, possibly in a few days. Am I wrong? I know a lot more goes into weather predictions than this, just wondering.

And a possible storm for next weekend.

February 22, 201511 yr Author Just looked at the GFS Model for the first week of March. I think March 2-3 is the time period that should be watched for the next best chance for accumulating winter precipitation.

Just hope the weather is not bad enough so we can go to the UK game this next weekend. nWo has does the weather look for this Tuesday? I have a Dr apt in Lexington and really need to go to that apt.
