uk#1fan Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Winston weighed in at 231 and in great shape. There was reports he was out shape.
uk#1fan Posted February 20, 2015 Author Posted February 20, 2015 Hurricane tackle Flowers benched 225 37 times. FSU tackle/center Irving benched 225 30 times.
mcpapa Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I can get up and down from a bench 32 times. Then I need a long nap.
spindoc Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Devante Parker got 17 reps on the bench. Solid. But he stunk it up in front of the media they say. And that won't make a hill of beans on his draft status.
jvdfc Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Bud Dupree measured in at the biggest LB there. 6 foot 4, 269 lbs.
uk#1fan Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 Bud Dupree measured in at the biggest LB there. 6 foot 4, 269 lbs. If the Bengals draft him they should put him at strong side linebacker on 1st, 2nd down and at end on 3rd down.
GrizzlyAdams Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I love the draft. One of my favorite things about the NFL.
BlacknGold Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Winston ran 4.99 40 compared to Mariota's 4.52
Clyde Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Winston ran 4.99 40 compared to Mariota's 4.52 Why make a QB run the 40?
mcpapa Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Why make a QB run the 40? Like they said on the show. This will be the last 40 of Winston's life. The times for Mariota and Winston were on the money as far as what was expected.
halfback20 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Why make a QB run the 40? Why wouldn't you make them run the 40? Wouldn't you want to know as much about them as possible if you are going to spend a high draft pick and millions of dollars on them?

Wouldn't you want to know as much about them as possible if you are going to spend a high draft pick and millions of dollars on them? I don't need to know how fast they run 40 yards. It tells an evaluator NOTHING about how well the player will fare as a QB in the NFL.

I don't need to see his 40 times. I need to see what's off the field right now. How is he handling interviews, questions and media? If I'm the Bucs I take Winston first pick. His game screams NFL QB, problem is off the field. Will be very interesting how his career pans out.
