Final. Hagen Tyler finished with 41 points and 11 rebounds.

Dylan Gaskin had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Peyton Gover had 26 points.

Nice stat line for Tyler.

I see you Boyle

My boy must have been sprayin tonight !!!!! Big time statement win on the road for the Rebels. 41 points I think is a new school record at Boyle. Sitting here ticked off that I didn't go. These boys are on a mission

Fun game to watch. Great win for the Rebels to come from behind to force OT and then win in OT. SW was up 64-61 when Hagen Tyler hit a three to tie the game with 38.9 seconds left. Tyler opened up OT with another three and Boyle never lost the lead. Tremendous poise and smart basketball to finish the game and get the win.

I love watching this team grow.

SW was up 64-61 and at the line for the bonus and missed the front in and Tyler hit the 3. SMH I would have fouled him too. Boyle coach made a good call there. I dont know why he ended up with the ball in that situation anyway.

I never remember Spencer Perrin getting 45 against Danville but ok. Man that kid could play. Had incredible bounce and played hard. I thought Derek Springate had school record with 40 points . Talking about a ball player!!!! Best post player under 6 foot I've ever seen in my life. Yes I'm biased but I think Hagen is the best player to ever come thru Boyle Co and there has been some good ones

I recall Derek Springate going for 50 once... am I wrong?

Peyton Gover had 26 points.

I feel the decision making late in the game from Gover cost SWHS this game. For some reason they stopped trying to get Gaskin the ball in the second half. Elkins started fronting the post, which made it hard to even attempt to get him the ball.

Great game by Tyler. He was on fire from the tip. Good win for BC.

I felt like both teams played a very free flowing game that resembled a pick up game at times. I was surprised to see SW go away from Gaskins in the second half after he did a great job of frustrating Elkins early along with getting him in foul trouble. You make a great point about the defense adjustment made to front Gaskins and deny him the ball and that definitely played a part in Gaskins' lack of touches. Gover and Isaacs being on fire helped out a lot as well.

I was very impressed with SW's ability to run off about 1:30 on the clock late in the 4th quarter. They simply ran a super efficient offense in an effort to keep the ball out of Boyle's hands and it was working fine until they gave the ball to Gaskins in which he was immediately fouled and promptly went to the line and missed the front end of the bonus free throws. That miss and the Boyle rebound led to Tyler's 3 to tie the game at 64.

When SW got to 60 the first thing I said was, "the first team to 60 wins" and I was resigned to the fact that my Rebels were likely going to take an L. Another fan stated that, "97% of the time that is correct". My wife then said, "we're still going to win".

She's always right.:lol2:

Was told by a good resource that the school record is 44 points by Kevin Rye.

Looking at the stats this was a pretty even game. Only thing that stands out is the Free Throw shooting, that is what hurt SW.

Perrin was around 6'6" or so. Two totally different players. We should all be so lucky to have the college career that Perrin had. If Hagen does that well, then he will be incredibly blessed.
