Boyle County 72 Southwestern 67 (OT)

Sounded like a heck of a game. TV station guy was in such a hurry to get back to the station that he ran a stop sign pulling out of there last night!!!

Spencer Perrin did score 45 vs. Danville in 2007. That is Boyle's school record.

It is a shame that Boyle doesn't have the basketball records available that they do for football.

Was told by a good resource that the school record is 44 points by Kevin Rye.

Wow, that's a blast from the past. class of '77.

I woul have bet money that Springate scored 50 against Lincoln in 1999, at BCHS.

I felt like both teams played a very free flowing game that resembled a pick up game at times.

I made the analogy that I felt I was watching an NBA game.. it seemed effortless. Probably a combination of two really good teams with good players and the refs letting the play.

Got a call from someone who has done the stats for Boyle for over 30 years. He said that Perrin scored 45 against Danville at Boyle back in Feb. of 2007. Boyle won that game 90 to 68.

He said that he does not see anything were Springate scored 50. Not that it did not happen but he does not see anything or remember Springate getting 50.
