February 10, 201511 yr Not sure where to see. I know we havent had much and was wondering if it was close to being a record. We haven't had much up in NKY. We had that storm in late November, before thanksgiving that dropped about 5 inches. But since then I don't think we've had more than a couple inches total. Even so, the year before last, we had even less snow. I don't think we had more than a couple of inches of measurable snow the entire winter season, and certainly less than we've had so far this year.

I dont think we have had over 2 inches so far in the south central part of the state. Other than what we got in November and that was so long ago I cant remember how much we even got then.
February 10, 201511 yr Had 5 inches in Anderson County and surrounding area a couple of weeks ago. Got it on a Friday night/early Saturday morning and by Saturday evening was almost all gone as it got up to almost 50. Got about an inch a few weeks before that. That's about it.

My guess is we've had 3-4 inches here this year over the course of the season, but almost all of it was gone within 12-24 hours of it falling.

February 10, 201511 yr Those are yearly averages....not the current total. I know, I'm saying it's incredible to me if that's their yearly average. It doesn't feel like it. Second part was me answering the thread topic.

February 10, 201511 yr Ashland area has only had an inch or two total. One snowfall brought about an inch, the rest has come from dustings. According to the local weathermen I believe we average around 20 inches a year. I bought an expensive snow blower for work in the fall, so I doubt we will get enough snow to use it for the next 10 year's.
February 10, 201511 yr Maybe 4 or 5 inches total in the greater Washington/Maysville Metropolitan Area.
February 10, 201511 yr All the big snows this winter have tracked north through the Midwest and into the Northeast. And they can have it. I don't mind seeing one or two 4 inch snows per season where kids can slide down the hills or build snowmen, but that's about it. Chicago and Boston can keep the 2 foot snows. We've had about two inches in a Owsley County. Actually had a dusting this morning that made the roads slick enough to cancel school.
February 17, 201511 yr Not sure where to see. I know we havent had much and was wondering if it was close to being a record. Hope your happy.
