Another loss for the Birds. Why talk about that?

Your act gets old. You haven't been in the gym to see basketball games but admire the program from decades past. Your lack of support continues to grow. In your past life were you passed over as a coach? Get a grip!

Good stuff there Bath. I'm sorry I forgot we can't post unfavorable comments about the Birds. Thanks for straightening me out.

Bolden is just so smooth' date=' he makes it look almost effortless.[/quote']

He is a dog that is cat like! He is quick and obviously works at his craft. What a joy to watch. I was one shaking my head. It is effortless!!

Trust me there our things that I would do differently, but it is not my program. You coach for the parents in the stands and you will be sitting in them. Not necessarily see CCH football thread I had to do it sorry LOL. I am not easy to please but the kids deserve praise.

Maybe Bellevue was a sort of wake up call?

Maybe Coach L lit a fire under them.?

Maybe they read the bgp thread about the Bellevue game? :)

Maybe they will make a run in the postseason ... Baahahahhaa. Nope.

Playing for moral victories and pride the rest of the season Birdies.

Nice effort by the Highlands boys. Keep working hard guys. Highlands basketball will keep improving with the people here now working hard. I've watched these kids grow up and like seeing them improving. As far as the few Covcath fans taking shots, really! Highlands basketball was good in the recent past and will be good again. On the contrary, those few may want to look closer at their own Covcath football which has an upset win in 97 and one good year in 2006 before casting stones. Other than that, they haven't been a good football team for 20 years. Let's keep it in perspective, Highlands basketball has been more successful over the last 20 years than Covcath football.

And we don't even need to discuss Camel sports which has won nothing in the history of the school.

Don't be a fanboy like those you criticize. 20 years? Come on.

20 yes. I shouldn't have let them drag me in though!

We're heading down the wrong path with this thread folks, let's get back on the interstate. :walk:

Funny guy, this Bosshog.

Let Them Eat Cake - just not until the next football season.

Basketball has a few games left before the postseason comes to an end vs. NewCath.

See you in August my feathered friends.

All - I apologized to JOAT via PM for my pot shot take last night. I shouldn't have done it and, in turn, I apologize to the rest that have viewed this thread.

But, Bosshog - you trying to take the high road is laughable. Too much of a track record otherwise.

Again, sorry for the pot shot and for diverting the thread.

No need to wait until August for excellence in HHS boys' athletics. While the basketball team goes through a down stretch and put themselves behind the eight ball in the districts, the football team is not the only group excelling.

Baseball regional runner up and preseason favorite this spring. Track defending state champions. State champion cross country runner. Regional golf champion. And the defending state champion football team.

Keep hating camelman. We don't just wait around for August in Fort Thomas.

Thanks for the explanation JDD.

Liked the way Avery shot free throws last night.

Late in the game it will be hard to catch Holmes if they get a lead. They keep the ball in the hands of McClendan and Bolden. Very quick and elusive. Shoot very well from the line.

Followed Walter's Tweets last night and was pleasantly surprised to hear the final as well as how well the Birds played. I can't say enough about the heart of those SRs nice to see them come together in a tough gym to play against a Top 3 team in the Region.

Finish strong and leave it all out on the Court.
