Maybe I say things to just see grown adults like you get all worked up over nothing. Have your seen comments by others, why attack me? They say nothing about anything, bashing others about their opinion, yet you dig on me? Maybe you get a hobby, or maybe a life......This thread was about whether we agree the All "A" should call themselves state champions. The opinion is by some, not the ALL "A" cronies, that it's not regulated by KHSAA, so its false pretense, its not a state championship, period. get your t-shirts, rings, banners all you want, it's a lie. If I want to put pics of whimsical dialect to make my point, so be it, others put far more damaging things on here than I do, I titillate with tongue in cheek. Get over yourself. I don't need to fix anything that has no bearing on anything like the ALL "A" tournament. take pride in what you accomplish, but don't undermine what the organizations already have in place by calling yourself something your not.

It is done exactly like the KHSAA would do it. It has a set criteria for which teams can compete in it, just like the KHSAA does for it classes that gives State Championships out in other sports. The KHSAA probably definitely has classes now if it wasn't for this. It's really not complicated to figure this out. As I said before the only time someone could or should have a problem with this is if people just call the winner the state champion and leaves out the All A in front of it. However the majority of the time people clearly say the All A State Champion, so it takes nothing away at all from the KHSAA State Tournament. So seriously what is the problem? You said in your previous post you like to see grown adults get all worked up. Well what do you think you are doing getting all worked up about this subject? Its the All A State Champion, and it doesn't take away from the KHSAA State Champion or hurt anyone, well besides apparently the people like you who have made such a big deal out of them calling it the All A State Championship.

You haven't answered that have you? I said my peace, you made my point, I have been consistent on it every time, so quit beating a dead horse. I did check your posts, and I do not see citings "often" as you stated, your opinion, yes, but we know what that is because you have pounded your opinion on this thread through 275 posts…so we get it, your angry about the All A…get over it.

 

Why would the Bishop of the Diocese of Covington go to the winner of the LIT ? Wouldn't that be Bishop Kurtz' responsibility ?

 

Traditional Bank has and will continue to be a showcase tournament for teams, not an all state invitational for classified schools.

 

And yes, someone, somewhere, decided that they would put the time, effort, energy and dollars into putting on a tournament for the A schools, regardless of reason, and they did and continue to do so. Just because the larger schools don't have a Stan Steidel who is as committed to his cause doesn't mean the tournament is a bad thing, it's just a thing…..

 

Why are you so hung up on a tournament that obviously doesn't affect you at all ? That, my friend, is what's perplexing about your stance. Good luck tilting at the windmills….

Schools can do what ever they like and treat it however they like. Why does that bother anyone.

Only the catholic schools have the big assemblies, banners made, rings purchased, & days off for being State Champs, I mean All "A" State Champs.

Then answer this - if the All-A meets all the criteria as a State Championship, then why are all the teams that participate in the All-A also playing in the KHSAA tournament in Feb-March? This is Kentucky, we're supposed to only have 1 champion. And if we had classes, then you would either be in one tournament or the other - not both.
