They are a 5A program. You are a 6A program and have @ 80. So @ twenty+ kids difference. What's the big deal?

It really isn't a big deal. Dixie has around the same number of players that Cooper

had when they went to state. It's all

good.

Now that's a good ? About the same # of kids between last year and this year!

Heard from a reliable source that they only have about 18 showing up for Freshman football. If true, that is not a good sign for the future.

Coming off their big year that should be a major concern.

Dixie Heights has averaged about 15-20 football players per class for awhile now. Last years senior class had 17 and won district, region, semi-final, and was state runner up in 6A.

 

Only four starters played both ways last year. Knock it off with generalities sk1 and lame attempts to stir the pot. You played that depth and lack of numbers card last year.

 

Guess it's fair to say the Dixie Heights Colonels utilize their resources wisely!

Not really a concern, I believe this freshman group only had about 14 kids or so as 6th graders at Turkeyfoot 3 years ago. Its just a small class, is what it is.

Yep. Every team cycles through big and small classes. The trip to the finals might have pulled a couple kids that were currently at Dixie, but will likely have little effect on numbers at the middle school level or with incoming freshman.

 

6th grade numbers at Turkeyfoot (and Woodland for that matter) aren't real good indicators of how big a class will be, as most 6th graders at those schools mostly play in the NKYFL.
