What will the pollsters do?

Duke beat undefeated #2, but they still lost to Notre Dame earlier in the week.

My bet is they'll be 3rd, receiving votes from anywhere from 2nd to 4th. So they'll go up.

My bet is the order is:

1) UK

2) Gonzaga

3) Duke

4) Virginia

5) Wisconsin

I'll be different:

1)UK

2)Duke

3)Gonzaga

4)Wisconsin

5)Virginia

#2 Voters will forget ND Game and should.

Duke is IMO Top #2 and it's not close back to #3

Forgot about that. :lol2:

They may be #3.

Duke will be #2.

They may be the #2 team in the country, but unfortunetly the polls don't work that way. Gonzaga will move to #2, Virginia will only drop one spot, due to the one loss, even though they are better than Gonzaga. I'm not sure where Duke will land in the poll, but they won't gain positions. At least they shouldn't.

I'm thinking the same thing but I would not be surprised if they come in at 2

They'll be #3 but should be #2.

With three losses, why should they be #2?

IMO because they are better than every one else. Duke beats Gonzaga @home on the road or neutral floor.

I can agree with that..But then you are going away from his the polls work. They essentially reward you for winning, drop you for losing. Duke broke even this week, so it would be hard to justify them moving up, as far as the media polls go.

They would probably be my #2 team if I had my own poll. But I don't and given how the polls have worked in past years, I would be surprised to see them move up above teams with less losses.

Gonzaga will get the #2 spot, even though they are a fraud. Virginia may only drop a a couple of spots, since its their first loss and to a top 5 team.

The media polls are garbage and it shows from week to week. It has nothing to do with how good "said" team is, all they care about is what did "said" team do this week and how many losses do they have.

UK

Gonzaga

Virginia

Duke

Wisconsin

This is how I would vote.
