You Have To Ask Lynch One Question

Featured Replies

You are a reporter and your editor is making you go to Lynch's media day and forcing you to ask at least one question.

What are you going with to try and get any type of response from him?

I'd go with, "Marshawn, how do you feel about the Lime Skittle being replaced with the Green Apple Skittle?"

Marshawn, have you always been a spoiled little brat, or just since you became a millionaire?

I don't see it as spoiled. I wouldn't want to speak to the media. That should be the coach's job. His only job description is to arrive to practice and games on time and ready to go. From there, he's as dominant a force as there has been in the last 10 years. Talking to media members should not be forced on any player.

Agreed. He's doing exactly what the league requires. He makes himself available to the media. They can't force him to answer questions a certain way.

As for the question, I would ask, "What exactly were you thankful for after you beat the Panthers?" "Low fuel prices?"

I'd ask, "Why are you here?"

Just so you could hear him give his answer one more time? I could be a smart mouth like that as well.

Doesn't matter what you ask him, he will still be a smart alec and give a comment that has nothing to do with the question.

The real question should be, if you were a reporter why would you even go up to him in the first place?

I was hoping someone would have this as their question because I thought it as well. And I'd follow it up with, "Well, thanks for actually answering MY question". I feel like it would get a good laugh throughout the room and if I was worried about face time, maybe get me and who I work for on ESPN.

You might have missed the part in the first post where I said that your editor is making you. So maybe a better real question would be, why would an editor make a report go up to him in the first place.

Hey, if those are the kind of answers he's gonna give (and I don't blame him for it), I'm going to frame my question so he's actually answering what I ask. Otherwise, what's the point of asking him anything?

Disagree. He's a baby.

Why should he be forced to talk to the media?

Actually, I believe it is in the standard NFL contract that players have to be available for the media. He signed the contract and he is in violation of it. Hence the fines.
