Boyle County 72 Mercer County 67

Alright, I'm uploading all the highlights for the entire game now. After reviewing the tape...I think the foul on Elkins should have been intentional, I noticed that the Mercer students were running around the sidelines with some sort of pole or something too, there were probably 8-10 calls that were totally missed including an over the back that should have been called on Boyle in the 2nd half.

I'd love to see the Elkins foul again. I didn't feel like it was intentional but I'd like to see it again. FWIW, I believe we had the same ref crew at the Lincoln County game and a similar foul was called an intentional on Jeremiah Bell against Jacob Conway.

You are about to get your wish. It's uploading now.

To me, this is an intentional foul because the defender grabbed his upper arms and shoulders and held him down. It was just called a hard foul in the game. What say you referees of BGP?

That's super close. On one hand he made a play on the ball in the form of a hard foul. On the other hand he was simply making sure he didn't get a shot off and didn't seem to care if he got ball or not. That's a tough one. I still wouldn't call it intentional however I can see why a lot of people feel like it was an intentional foul. It was clearly a "you're not getting an easy dunk" foul. Colton was definitely getting ready to dunk it.

For me I'm more apt to call an intentional foul if it seems malicious and to me that wasn't a malicious foul. Just a hard foul IMO.

That foul was worse than the intentional foul they called on Jeremiah Bell though. That intentional foul call on JBell in the Lincoln County game was unbelievable.

I hope this crew dont have the game Friday

ignore this one messed up trying to use an ipad

As far as the student sections go, first off who cares where a bunch of kids choose to sit or who they choose to cheer for? They're kids in high school. From what I have read on here and heard since last night pretty much the players that actually matter from Lincoln were sitting up top as were the ones from Danville. I get when in high school you get rowdy and holler but they are the ones in high school let them worry about it. I think its a shame so many people are putting so much focus on that and a dinner bell and not on the kids playing who, for the most part could honestly care less it appears. The game Friday will be great and I personally will be watching whats happening on the court not around it. I think the top 4 Bell, Tyler, Conway and Taylor will do their thing for sure and the winner will go to whichever team has somebody step up like Robbins did for BC against Mercer. What makes Lincoln so tough is 1 they have a great coach, probably the best in the area and 2 they have all been playing together for at least 4 years now, some a lot longer so they know each others game well and that's why I'm going with Lincoln but not by much. Going to be a packed house guess I'll be watching a girls game Friday so I can get a good seat for the boys LOL

Only Knock I have on Jeremiah Bell is the other activities he does on the court, such as the taunting of other players. Just play ball and dominate like u always do. But Like PP said NOBODY can keep him from getting to the rim!

NO doubt a real talent but that's probably a lot of why hes not gotten the big time offers that his talent deserves yet. Sure some fans, mainly kids and students may like it but there are plenty of fish in the sea for recruits and while hes good, hes not at the college talent level worth taking a risk when they don't know him personally or how he is, or is not off the court. That's all they have to go on. Especially if they see him waving off the coach and rolling his eyes at him etc.

Its not. I mean it maybe 1 of them but not all 3

Perception is not always reality. As I stated earlier there are a lot of misconceptions about Jeremiah for whatever reason and I'll always feel that is unfair and unfortunate. People are going to want to see what they want to see though. I've been around the staff at Boyle County long enough to know that people are mistaken about Jeremiah when they make these kind of statements.

There's no doubt in my mind that Jeremiah will be successful at the next level and he'll be an asset to which ever school is fortunate enough to land his services.

I'd take Hagen Tyler over Jacob Conway too.

I wouldnt turn away either one of them. If I was fortunate to have one of them on my team, I would be..........giddy:popcorn:

I was lucky enough to have both and Timmy too. It was a lot of fun. All 3 kids are winners and will go on to be really good college players.

Don't be surprised to see Hagen starting at NKU at some point next year.

I'll be the first to say that none of that bothers me at all but I understand how some people may be turned off by what they perceive to be his antics. At the same time I'll also say that he has toned down quite a bit and has listened to referees when being told to stop if the taunting goes too far. Referees can award technicals for taunting and he hasn't gotten a technical for taunting all season so let's not act like he is Gary Payton when on the court. I definitely love the attitude and swagger that he brings to the team. He backs down from no one and he's not going to stop coming at you. He plays with passion, emotion and with a chip on his shoulder and I love it. I feel like there are a lot of misconceptions about Jeremiah and I hate that for him because he has shown to me to be a great kid who loves the game of basketball and will do all that he can and all that he is asked to do to help his team win.

He gets nothing but love from me as do all the Rebels.

The problem with antics like that is that when another player does the same thing a fight usually occurs. The ones that dish it out can't take it.
