Piano Man tour? Something like that?

Yep. Kinda a dueling piano set up at one point. Great show.

My wife has been pushing me to go, and honestly, I wouldn't mind it, but for the fact I think US Bank is an awful venue. Combine that with expensive tickets & I'm hesitant. Fortunately, I think a friend scored some free tickets so it's looking like GIRLS' NIGHT.

I have seen Elton John twice with Billy Joel and at least 3 or 4 times by himself. Always a great show!

Since ticket prices have skyrocketed, I have changed my concert going habits and only attend concerts of those I have never seen before or those who are high on my love list. Sir Reggie did not make the cut.

We had Bob Dylan at the BOKC a few years ago! I asked him for a autograph in the green room and he said to ask his agent. lol.

My wife T.

Still weird for me to read that.

I really liked 70s Elton a lot.

After that - no so much.

First album I ever bought was his "Caribou" LP in about 1973 or so.

Elton's 70s stuff was great. Island Girl, Philadelphia Freedom, Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting! His 80s music was very pedestrian!

Yay me, apparently? :idunno:

That is correct. Yay you!!!

I contend that Bennie and the Jets is his best. Followed closely by Saturday Night's Alright (for fighting)

I've always been partial to "Don't Let the Sun..." since it was the reason I bought the first album.

I've seen EJ several times over the years and have never been disappointed. First show was 1979 during the "21 @ 33" tour. That was the album with "Little Jeannie ," "White Powder," and "Sartorial Eloquence." If you haven't seen the 60th Birthday performance at MSG from a few yrs back check it out. He does a lot of rarely heard oldies like "High Flying Bird," "Madman Across the Water," "Hercules," "Take Me to the Pilot," and "Roy Rogers." Good stuff.

Crocodile Rock.

You know you want to move when you hear it.

Holding hands and skipping stones...

I had all the early albums. Tiny Dancer, Levon, Rocket Man, Daniel, Funeral for a Friend, Candle in the Wind, Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Tame Me to the Pilot, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. I don't care what the music snobs say; that was a pretty daggone good run he had 40 years ago.

Ditto!
